Combining inflatables and woods games is a powerful hybrid. We call it "Combined Arms." You can use your inflatables events, such as fetes, festivals and sporting club celebration to drive business to your forest field. It is a powerful combination.

Combined arms are a synergy of permanent locations offering the full Battlefield Live experience and mobile battles at busy events. This is an excellent combination because at the mobile events, the business is not only making money selling tickets; it is also driving business to the permanent battlefields. It addresses the problem that some fixed, especially forest fields have with high customer acquisition costs (e.g. expensive advertising) when they are not at a venue with high passing trade. This is a jugular issue, Battlefield Live is fantastic fun, however you have to find cost effective means to communicate this to the general public, cost effectively; combined arms achieves this goal.

Flexibility is the key to the combined arms approach, wherever and whatever a potential customers needs are, it can be accommodated. Battlefield Sports has pioneered this style of retail business, effectively cross promoting from one form of the game to the other and back again.

Combined arms package provides material necessary to supply the Battlefield Live experience in any of the following terrain types:

  • Forest
  • Urban (around buildings)
  • Warehouses (indoor)
  • Inside conference rooms
  • Tennis courts
  • Indoor sports arenas
  • Sports Fields

With combined arms, the major markets are:

  • Festivals, Fairs and Fetes
  • Birthday parties @ fixed fields
  • Corporate functions @ fixed fields and mobile
  • Gamers, especially 13+

Given the scope of the operation, the logistic side is more complex than the other business models.

Typically this sort of combine arms package has approximately 60 Battlefield Live guns, 40 urban inflatables, accessories and business package costs around about $95,000 with a recommended additional $14,000 be set aside for your marketing budget.

"Hi Peter,
I just wanted to let you know about the success we enjoyed with our first outing to a school fete. The fete was held at a small Catholic Primary school south of Cairns. The school had invited us and provided a suitable area and some equipment, such as make-shift barriers etc. to provide cover. During the course of the fete (from 3:00pm to 9:00pm) we put through over 300 players in 8 minute games. At one point we had a half-hour waiting line outside our ticket box! Not only did the school receive a welcome monetary contribution (we have been invited back for the next five years!) but some of the players at the fete visited our playing field the very next day. We have also been booked for three more fetes, with more in the pipeline. Two birthday groups booked as a direct result of the fete and there seems to be a heightened awareness of Lasertag in the community since the fete. Well be taking on as many as we can possibly handle in the future, without a doubt.
" Neville, Lasertag Cairns

T Rod dismissed franchises such as Dairy Queen to select Battlefield Live (below you can see Rodney doing a demo at the local shopping mall)

"We were looking to fulfill the niche, something that was strategic and military, yet exciting to all people. We did some research. We were figuring that we would have to develop something on our own. But then we came across Battlefield Sports and it was the perfect answer." Rodney, Harrisburg, VA USA.
